chapter 5: Fated Garden
in case no one know where porkchopp is right now... he is in shanghai. what is he doing there? enjoying the cool weather and shaking leg as he is penning down his tots. biting the pen tip, he is wondering how to present the previous few days entries as he has yet to finish them. "aiyah heck lah" and he will only contribute the 5th day's entry first. =] if u see entries before today it only imply that the lazybones has start working on them *smilez*
sunday morning used to be church going with miss honeycocopops but with a distance of 4000 plus kilometres inbetween, he's afraid tat he has to give that a miss. intended to pay a visit to one of the local christian establishment but mr chuang is having a bad throat. puke blood yesterday and has a voice as coarse as a piece of sandpaper. thus they only woke up at lunch time for lunch. lunch was simple and cheap. 小龙包 (dumplings) and noodles and that is. cost is low. way lower that the small island thousand of miles away. 3 bucks is all that is needed to fill their stomach.
wanted to return to their humble abode but there are people doing weekly cleaning. hence they decided not to. taking a stroll around the sunday neighbourhood is a betta idea. eventually they settled down at a cafe 圆缘园(Fated Garden). a cosy new place opened by a taiwan boss selling bubble tea. unexpectedly they stayed there for almost 3 hours with jeff and his fren amy. amy is a makeup artiste. she does makeup for brides and for makeover. after that she brought them to a skating place. where they tot they might hang out there for a little while before dinner time. but when they reached there, it was such a bengish place and believe porkchopp that he has never seen such a place b4. the old type of roller skates. the type where the four wheels are not lined up in a line but together in a group of 4. smoky and smelling weird, jeff and us left that place within 5 secs of arrival.
scene change. introduce jeff. mr chuang is now working in a office space rented out by jeff to him and his uncle. jeff is the boss of another company which deals in buying and selling of "unwanted" goods. he has lived on earth for 30 years and single. not shanghai man but he's from taiwan. same as mr chuang. he is mr chuang's buddy over here and drives a green van with number plate 2418. anyone please buy 4D for me. struck already i treat dinner.
anyway after leaving that incredible place, the beaut decided to go home. which is alright for them. for she is only a beaut .. missing the crucial 'Y'. the men went back to 舒雨(Comfy Rain, a beaty palour cum massage salon) for foot massage. it was number 43 massaging porkchopp's feet. it was a nicer experience than the massage session a few days back, porkchopp felt. co-incidentally it was 34 who did the body massage the other day. 34 then 43.
anyway the day ended with 新警察故事 (new police story) dvd bought for S$1.6. super exciting show. recommended. those who havent watch can buy the dvd from him. selling at S$4. cheaper than johor. guaranteed goodstuff. =]
